What’s the newest Python Comp. Sci. Textbook?

By , November 30, 2008 4:50 pm

A Computer Science textbook that uses Python as its core language was released, I believe, this year. However, I CAN’T FIND IT! I searched google, amazon, bn.com, and used all the terms you’d normally think of using, and I can’t find this book anywhere. The book is black, and has a picture of a snake’s head on it. Can anyone help me out with finding this book?

Of course, after searching for 30 minutes or more, I found the book like a *minute* after posting to my blog — it’s right here –> http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Object-Oriented-Programming-in-Python/Michael-H-Goldwasser/e/9780136150312/?itm=2

Hi guys, thanks for the replies — if you see the very first comment, there’s a link to the book I was looking for. I haven’t ordered it yet, because the coupon I have isn’t valid for use with textbooks. Maybe I’ll check out the books you guys suggest, or wait for this other one, An Intro to Computer Science Using Python, due out in Feb. ’09 –> https://www.amazon.com/dp/1934356271?tag=briankjonescom&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=1934356271&adid=1VY0HDTBZCR80RG5AAP4&
